Calling all composers and musicians.
The Florida Shakespeare Theater and the Shakespeare Music Project is looking for rocking, rapping, bluesy, jazzy, ORIGINAL music inspired by the play Macbeth
We believe that everyone has been touched by the words of Shakespeare at one time in their lives and may not even know it. The themes and story of Macbeth can bring out the dark side in all of us. Show us how Shakespeare's most terrifying story of magic and rage, brings out the music in you.
We plan to collect a wide range of songs in many styles and genres, and hear from the composers - why does the play Macbeth resonate with people of all walks of life around the world? What does the play mean to them, and how do they express this through their music?
Now accepting submissions of original music that is inspired by Shakespeare's play, Romeo and Juliet. The songs can be in any genre, and in any language. We are NOT looking for "Renaissance style" music.
THE ARTIST RETAINS RIGHTS TO ALL ORIGINAL WORK.
